Cycle commuters given a dedicated lane on 7th Avenue, downtown Los Angeles

"Hold on to your hats, folks, we're actually removing a lane for a car — in favor of a bike lane — in Los Angeles," City Councilman Ed Reyes said during a news conference at MacArthur Park.
